Banking on a ‘bueno’ career:  Mexican Esteban Gutierrez is spicing up the competition in Formula BMW Europe this year. The 16-years old from Monterrey was on the podium in both races in the opening round in Barcelona. Past weekend at Zolder, Belgium, young Esteban, who now resides in Madrid, won both races of round 2 and now leads the championship.

In 2007 he was Rookie of the Year in Formula BMW USA and second overall in the series. He won four races and sat on pole a record nine times.

Esteban spoke with Señor Nasir Hameed in Spain in April. We invite you to listen to this conversation on podcast 280. Gracias!
