Bernard Cahier, who was born in Marseilles,  has passed away at the age of 81. He was one of the most respected photographers on the Formula 1 circuit, which he started covering in 1952. His son Paul-Henri carries on the great tradition and their superb work can be seen at http://www.f1-photo.com. Bernard also worked for Goodyear and made a brief appearance in the movie Grand Prix. He was married to Joan, an American lady from California.

F1weekly extends our condolences to the Cahier family.
