A1GP–Seaside Season Opener: Local driver Jeroen Bleekemolen gave fans a real Dutch treat by taking pole position for round one of A1GP’s fourth season. Zandvoort, once a proud home of the Dutch Grand Prix, will stage both the sprint and feature races on Sunday. Sharing the front row will be Earl Bamber of New Zealand. Adam Carrol will be carrying luck of the Irish on row two with Fairuz Fauzy fourth for Team Malaysia.

Team USA, under new management of Andretti Green Racing, is relying on the European experience of Charlie Kimball but expect "in house’ drivers, Marco Andretti and Danica Patrick, to take over from the second race next month in China.
 
Defending champion Team Switzerland retains the services of Neel Jani but Team Germany, missing the Dutch round due to production delay of Powered by Ferrari car, may not return to the series as franchise holder Willi Webber is still waiting for his client Nico Hulkenberg to be paid for winning the championship in season two.
