High Nico-tine: Nico Hülkenberg, another Willi Webber wonder, has clinched the 2008 F3 Euroseries title after Saturday’s race at Le Mans. This is Nico’s third championship in four years. In 2004, he won the Formula BMW Germany championship in his rookie season of single seater racing. In the 2006/07 A1GP series he scored nine wins, including winning on his debut weekend, to capture the title for Team Germany. Last year he also won the prestigious F3 Masters at Zolder. His karting credentials include German and Italian championships.

Born on August 19, 1987, Hülkenberg hails from the German town of Emmerich near the Dutch border. With a winning percentage of almost 30% and finishing on the podium in over half the races competed, and currently under contract to Williams F1 team as a test driver, Hülkenberg is sure to follow in the footsteps of fellow countrymen Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel to greater glory.
