Canadian Son Rise: Robert Wickens, 19-year old Red Bull backed Toronto native, scored his maiden F3 Euroseries victory on Sunday at Le Mans. Robert is rapidly rising through the ranks. After winning two karting championships in three years, he finished third in his rookie season in the 2005 Formula BMW USA series with two victories and five podium finishes. He captured the championship the following year with 3 wins and 7 podium placings. Before crossing the pond he competed in Formula Atlantic series in 2007 and was again an impressive third overall in his rookie season. Representing Canada in the A1GP competition he was third on his debut at Sepang, Malaysia.
