You’re teammate was faster, too? Winters are cold and dark in their native land, Finland. Both Kimi Raikkonen and Heikki Kovalainen were put in the shade by their respective teammates last year.

The 2009 season starts this weekend in Melbourne, Australia.
Man with the tattoo is 2007 World Champion Kimi Matias Raikkonen. After scoring two wins early in the season last year, his bubble was pierced by his fellow Ferrari pilot Felipe Massa. The Sao Paulo driver took the title fight to the final race in his home town and enjoyed his 15 seconds of fame as World Champion, only to have his hopes docked by Lewis Hamilton passing Timo Glock on the last corner of the last lap.

Heikki Kovalainen never recovered from the Caribbean Mojo his teammate laid on him from the start of the season by winning in Australia. While the English driver became the sport’s youngest ever World Champion, Kovalainen’s only visit to the top of the podium was made possible by an engine kablamo on Massa’s dominant Ferrari in Hungary
