Northbound 101

The Doctor, Valentino Rossi, holds yet another riding clinic. This time at Sachsenring in Germany. The patient, same as in the Catalunya Grand Prix in Barcelona last month, came close to passing (him). Rossi resisted all last lap gasps by his Fiat Yamaha teammate Jorge Lorenzo, and recorded his 101st Grand Prix win. Margin of victory was 0.099s.

Rossi leads the championship with 176. Jorge Lorenzo is second with 162 points. Ducati rider and ex-world champion from Australia, Casey Stoner, is third with 148 points.

Donington Park in England will host the next round on July 26th.

She leads the championship by 17 points over John Edwards and Jonathan Summerton; teammates at Newman Wachs Racing are tied in second place.
