Jaime Alguersuari: born March 23, 1990 in Barcelona. He took the British Formula Three Championship in 2008, having become the youngest title winner in championship history, aged 18 years and 203 days.

He deputised for the injured Mark Webber in the 2008 Race of Champions event at Wembley Stadium in December 2008.

He is competing in the World Series by Renault in 2009, continuing with his British Formula Three Championship-winning team Carlin Motorsport, and team-mate Oliver Turvey.

Alguersuari took over the role of reserve driver for the Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Toro Rosso from fellow Red Bull Junior driver Brendon Hartley in the second half of the 2009 Formula One season and less than two weeks later, rumours of Sébastien Bourdais leaving Toro Rosso were heightened with the announcement that Alguersuari was expected to be a race driver for the 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix.He will become the youngest ever Formula One driver at the age of 19 years and 125 days, breaking the record held by Mike Thackwell. On July 20, 2009 it was announced that Alguersuari would race for Toro Rosso in Hungary.
